Simply pass your hand or debris within ten inches or a 130° angle from the infrared sensor, and the lid will automatically open. The lid will stay open as long as debris or your hand remains within the sensor range, closing automatically after you move away. Each can comes with a ring liner to conceal the trash bag for a tidy appearance, as well as an inner plastic bucket (DZT-8-1c) for easy cleaning.

Crafted from high-quality materials, these trash cans feature a water-resistant infrared motion sensor that protects the unit from moisture and accidental spills. Additionally, the fingerprint-resistant stainless steel base helps maintain the cleanliness of the can. The touch-free motion sensor lid closure seals in odors and eliminates cross-contamination of germs. These cans require 2 D and 3 C batteries (not included), with alkaline batteries recommended for optimal performance.
