By passing your hand or debris within ten inches or a 130° angle from the infrared sensor, the lid will open automatically. It will remain open as long as the debris or hand is within range. After three seconds of moving your hand away, the lid will close on its own. With a battery life lasting up to 6 months under normal daily usage, this model includes a ring liner to conceal the trash bag, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance. Please note that the older version of this model required 4 D batteries but has since been discontinued, now requiring 3 C batteries (not included).

Crafted with high-quality materials, this trash can boasts a water-resistant infrared motion sensor to protect it from moisture and accidental spills.
